The upcoming Air Jordan IX ‘Johnny Kilroy’ retells one of the most entertaining stories in Michael’s eventful career, when he and Nike teamed up to put a lighthearted spin on his early retirement in 1993. Johnny Kilroy was Michael in disguise, gaining recognition for his Jordan-like performances in semi-professional basketball games (that is, until the Bulls added Kilroy to their roster).
