Remember the alternate “Black Bottom” version of the Air Jordan IX “Photo Blue” that was produced last year as a factory mistake? It looks like that pair will be trotted out for a retail release after all. The move is sort of reminiscent of the “Banned” Air Jordan 1 fiasco, wherein a b-grade labeled sneaker that would otherwise just be destroyed is let loose upon the masses. Also exciting is the price-point: the Air Jordan IX “Black Bottom” will hit for just $130.
