Last year was a particularly exciting one for running footwear from Nike, as the brand was able to roll their extended launch of the Nike Flyknit range into the 2012 Olympic festivities via medal stand models like the Nike Flyknit Trainer and marathon models like the Nike Flyknit Racer. They’re back at it this year for the 2013 World Track and Field Championships that are going down in Moscow, Russia. Of course the range goes beyond just the Flyknit business, as there are models included for the springs, distance, field, and marathon categories. Get a look at all of the sneakers below and keep your fingers crossed and that we’ll see a retail release for some of the styles inlcuded.

Nike presents the track and field footwear collection elite athletes will wear when competing for world titles in Moscow this week. Following last year’s dominance of volt yellow on the track in London, male athletes will don “Gamma Blue” and female athletes, “Pink Foil.”
The various Nike footwear used for track and field events represents the ultimate in lightweight performance. Paired with federation uniforms, the footwear completes the modern uniform of sport.
“When we talk to athletes, we hear from them that bold, vibrant colors make them feel invincible in competition,” said Sean McDowell, Vice President, Creative Director Running. “These insights inspired our choice of Gamma Blue and Pink Foil for this collection.”
