If the adidas Originals Torsion Trail plans on asserting itself for the holiday season, now would be a good time to start. Not only is this part of the year well suited toward weather-ready and otherwise rugged footwear, Three Stripes’ competitors are offering a wider variety of boots and boot-inspired sneakers than ever before. The Torsion Trail covers the basics here with one in navy/black with green hits and a white midsole (a fairly unique combination among Originals drops) and another that gets in on the pattern craze with a duck-ish camouflage pattern on the heavy-duty ripstop sections.
