2014 is a big 23rd anniversary year for Jordan Brand, as it commemorates the number of years in Michael Jordan’s uniform number from the time he won his first NBA Championship. The Air Jordan VI is one of the more reserved numbered Js when it comes to retro releases, so we’ll be happy to have a full spread across the year including a re-release on this OG pair pictured above. This original 1991 white and Infrared Jordan 6 is the only version of this particular colorway with ‘Nike Air’ on the heels, and given that JB passed on the chance to make more Retro III ’88s, it will likely stay that way. Check out the original AJVI in all its glory after the jump then consider copping the vintage size 10 currently available from earlsjays23 on eBay.
