Nike Basketball Easter 2014 3

Today, Nike Basketball officially unveils two new signature styles for 2014 – the LeBron 11 Low and Kobe 9 EM. Together, with the Nike KD 6, these three colorways comprise the 2014 Easter Collection that will release at select retailers on April 18th. The LeBron 11 Low makes a return to full-length Air Max with color-blocking inspired by Sunday attire, while the Kobe 9 EM flexes the versatility of the Engineered Mesh with an upper inspired by colored eggs for the holiday. The KD 6 is also unveiled in this special camouflage motif alluding to the hunt for easter eggs. With Spring in the air and Easter weekend on the horizon, Nike Basketball brings the spirit of the holiday to its new Easter collection.

Driven by performance, the three low-cut signature shoes for LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant undergo a festive Easter makeover with individual stories connected to each shoe.

LEBRON 11 LOW

The LEBRON 11 Low represents an evolution of James’ signature shoe, now with a lower cut, full-length Max Air bag and zonal articulation for optimal flexibility and breathability.  This special Easter edition takes inspiration from wearing your Sunday best, in a clean white upper with a paisley pattern inspired by the tropical palm trees of Miami.

KOBE 9 EM

The KOBE 9 EM features engineered mesh and dynamic Flywire for natural motion without compromising strength and durability.  Inspired by the Easter tradition of dying colorful eggs, the Kobe 9’s upper makes a splash with its green and blue dyed aesthetic.

KD VI

The performance design of the KD VI was inspired by the precision of a finely crafted wristwatch.  The shoe’s low-cut and its light weight came at the specific request of Durant. The traditional Easter egg hunt influenced the custom camouflage pattern mixed with Easter iconography featured on this special edition KD VI.

The Nike Basketball Easter Collection is available April 18 at Nike.com and select retail locations globally.  Each shoe’s special colorway also comes to life in a matching t-shirt available in limited quantities globally; the KD VI and LEBRON 11 Low also have matching hats that will be available.
