The “What The” saga continues with this magnificent KD 6 release – a shoe that will be highly sought after as we approach the now-confirmed release date of June 7th. Nike revealed quite an interesting detail regarding the KD 6 in that the haphazard “What The” arrangement is actually a meticulously organized set of 35 different details taken from some of the best KD 6 colorways thus far. Some may appear new to you because, unlike other “What The” joints, the KD 6 reinvents new visuals by combining some of its classics via a multi-layered arrangement and gradient effect.
While the “What The” LeBron 11 handpicks a number of unique details from the entire legacy, the “What The” KD 6 sticks within the limits of the current model – although we would hardly call that a limitation! As mentioned earlier some of the prints feature multiple layers, so be sure to pay attention if you want to grab all the details. “Aunt Pearl”
The sublimated graphic is none other than the popular floral arrangement known as Aunt Pearl.
“Liger”
The main print on the lateral is the Liger, although only the markings, not the colors, are in use here.
“Maryland Blue Crab”
The Swoosh uses a similar motif from the Blue crab, option for a yellow primary unit with the crustaceans signature speckling in blue.
“BHM”
At the forefoot of the sublimated layer is the rich BHM colorway.
“DC” and “BHM”
The KD logo is made up of two different colorways – the golden K from “BHM” and the starry D from the “DC”.
“Meteorology”
Both the inner lining and insole are taken from the early Meteorology release.
“Bamboo”
The graphic on the tongue and medial is taken from the Bamboo colorway.
“Supreme”
The bright outsole unit is taken straight from the Supreme-grade “Pre-Heat” joints.
“BHM”
The popular February release appears once again on the outsole logo.
“NOLA Gumbo League”
The medallion on the tongue is borrowed from the NOLA Gumbo League.
“Home and Away”
The wild graphic on the upper is inspired by the two “Home” and “Away” releases.
“PBJ”
The Swoosh takes after the purple jelly graphic from the shoe inspired by KD’s favorite food.
“Easter”
The shoes fades from Gumbo to an Easter camouflage as it approaches the heel.
“Meteorology”
Again, the KD logo is made up of two different colorways. The K is the bright pink tone from Meteorology, while the D mimics the Easter.
“N7”
The lining of the right shoe takes the heritage print from the N7 release.
“Christmas”
Look deeper and you’ll see the plaid from the Christmas Holiday release.
“Energy” and “NY 66”
The tongue and medial upper is combination of two; the bright orange colorway of the NY66 is adapted to the Energy graphic.
“NOLA Gumbo League”
The bright, glow-in-the-dark outsole is from none other than the All-Star joints.
“Christmas”
