UK-based hanon shop unearths a memorable running silhouette in the 1990’s for its latest collaboration dubbed “The Saturday Special”. The Diadora N.9000, a high-performance running sneaker that debuted in 1990, is re-imagined with inspiration from its namesake, which recalls a Saturday transportation service that ran during the 1980s. As an homage to Diadora’s methods of craftsmanship, hanon utilizes Italian production and material selection with kangaroo leather, silky pig and bovine suede, and mesh used in the first edition of the sneaker. With three sets of laces, gold foil labels on the insole, a cotton dust bag, and hanon’s signature flame logo on the heel, “The Saturday Special” sums up yet another fine production by the retailer. The shoes will release exclusively at hanon on May 31st, with the first thirty units being accompanied with limited t-shirts.
