Chuck Taylors in winter? The idea seemed preposterous when the sneaker was first introduced – almost as crazy as actually wearing them as a basketball sneaker these days. Luckily the folks over at Converse continue to innovate their classic Chuck Taylor All-Star in a number of ways so the silhouette can stay relevant throughout any season. Their latest creation? Getting inspired by 70s era down jackets in a warmer take for winter. Featuring a quilted-nylon exterior and a micro suede lining, a clean stripe streaks down the tongue for an added diversity to both the white and black pairs. Check out more of this winterized Chuck Taylor after the click and now that they’ll be available at Converse retailers on Friday, November 28th.
