It’s been ten years, but it’s still the most infamous sneaker release ever. We’re talking, of course, about the hectic queue for the Nike SB Dunk Low “Pigeon” by Staple Design. On March 22, 2005, the sneaker world was forever changed when the highly limited sneaker nearly caused a riot—or at least a few muggings—and seemingly changed the hype factor and resale rates of sneakers from that day on. Sole Collector recently caught up with the man behind the shoe, Jeff Staple, on how the release went down. Check out the full video below.
