After a small snafu in the form of phantom bidders marking up the price, the What The Doernbecher Dunk auctions have come to an end. Just 11 pairs were up for grabs so many projected the shoes to achieve some incredible high numbers, and it appears that sneakerheads helped Nike raise $139,118.01 in proceeds for the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Some interesting notes; the shoes that sold for the most was the size 11.5, which garnered nearly double the average price, while the size 9 ended up being sold at an affordable $10,100.
