The Air Jordan 1.5 Is A Sole-Swappers Dream

The Air Jordan 1.5 Is A Sole-Swappers Dream

Air Jordan 1.5 Chicago Kids 2

Jordan Brand has another surprise thanks to their 30th anniversary celebration this coming weekend with the introduction to the Air Jordan 1.5. An early wear-test sample during Mike’s injury-riddled second season in the NBA, Jordan Brand experimented by placing the Air Jordan 2 outsole and midsole unit underneath a traditional Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” upper. It’s unknown how many games or even quarters MJ laced these up for, but they remained one of the rare landmarks from Nike’s early goings with Michael Jordan’s signature line. You’ll also notice an early mock up of the Wings logo on the upper, as the Air Jordan callout is replaced with Nike. What do you think of Jordan Brand actually releasing this forgotten variant at retail? Check out more photos below and know that you can always check for this pair early on eBay.
