Of course Jordan Brand was going to bring the goods in regards to the Air Jordan 1‘s 30th anniversary. Not only has the shoe been remastered with an attention to detail not seen in the manufacturing process in quite some time, but collaborations with fragment design and alternate, revisionist’s take on the classic silhouette have been successes too. The Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air” is back today in what could loosely be called a “Bred” colorway given the premium black tumbled leather base and red Swoosh. The tongue comes equipped with a velcro construction so you can choose the branding yourself (sorry there’s no choice of a ‘Nike Air’ tongue tag, but we’re guessing someone in the customizing game is on that right now.
