adidas turned heads when they named Snoop Dogg their Director of Football Development. There’s no denying that Snoop is a die-hard football fan, and the three stripes even gave the Doggfather another title: Director of Football Recruiting. But now Snoop isn’t happy with the three stripes as he took to Instagram to post a photo of Deion Sanders with the following caption:
Prime give me a holla about under armour. Adidas keep playing games with me and my football league time to make a boss move. Free agent style. Hit me up family
Sanders has been involved with Under Armour since 2011 when he left Nike and was rather vocal about his displeasure with his signature trainers ditching his name and still landing on retail shelves. The Snoop and adidas Football pairing has been one of the stranger relationships in the sneaker world and it’s still unclear what exactly the problem between the two parties is. But is there a place at UA for Snoop? We’ll keep you updated.
