In the current state of the sneaker world where almost every notable sneaker has a set release date covered in depth by every blog, somehow Nike Sportswear continues their string of recent retros of classic basketball shoes seemingly out of nowhere. First it was the Air Max Sensation, then the Air Max CB34, and now the Air Max 2 Strong Mid shows up unannounced. The 1995 sneaker was released a couple years ago in its high-top version, and now the mid is hitting the shelves, as well. A utilitarian workhorse sneaker of its time, the Air Max 2 Strong features a no-frills design with plenty of Air cushioning and a leather and nubuck upper. The OG black and white colorway you see here will be hitting US retailers soon.
