adidas New York Spezial “Carlos” Honors Owner of Epic Deadstock Collection in Argentina

Remember that video last year of a few renowned adidas collectors taking a trip to explore the amazing sneaker shop in Argentina full of vintage deadstock adidas shoes? Well the crew went back with a special treat for shop owner Carlos Ruiz: his very own tribute version of the adidas New York. The vintage silhouette is crafted in OG-caliber quality in a special light blue colorway, complete with Carlos’ face on the tongue. The adidas Originals Spezial collection release for winter 2015 is accompanied by an original grey colorway of the New York, as well. Both premium versions of the classic runner will release at select adidas Originals retailers on December 3rd.
