Kendrick Lamar‘s Reebok Ventilator was one of the more surprising collaborative efforts of 2015, as the Compton rapper focused on uniting rival gangs in Los Angeles in an attempt to end violence. It only helped that the Reebok collab looked great too, with mismatched red and blue insoles and heel branding in a nod to both the Crips and Bloods standing out on a simple cream base. A similar theme returns in the new year with Kendrick’s Reebok Classic Leather, slated for a January 16th release. Sure, it won’t come equipped with the hype of Drake’s Air Jordan “OVO” releases, but the shoe exudes Kendrick’s unique viewpoint and social commentary and will assuredly garner plenty of attention for the vector brand. Stay tuned for upcoming pricing information and let us know if you plan on picking up Kendrick’s latest sneaker collab come January 16th by taking your thoughts to the comments section.
