We were overdue for a Nike Huarache 2K4 retro, but given that this is Kobe Bryant’s last year in the league, Nike is taking advantage of the perfect time to bring back the famed silhouette. One of the most popular models of the mid-2000s era of Nike Basketball, the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 was originally slated to be Kobe Bryant’s debut signature with the Swoosh, but Nike held off. Granted, there were an onslaught of awesome purple and gold PEs in honor of the Lakers (hopefully we’ll see some of those retro later in the year). This White/Game Royal-Sport Red pair brings back memories of Kobe’s appearance in the 2004 All-Star Game as the simple colorway matched the West’s home uniforms perfectly. No word yet on a release date, but given the “All-Star” origins of this colorway, expect a mid-February arrival.
