Look carefully at the paper enclosed with the pair that Solefly boutique owner Carlos Prieto received with text written by Tinker Hatfield, where he explains the shoe’s design and limited number. Tinker also states that most pairs were given to the Oregon football team, which means even less were gifted to the public—and you had to be somebody pretty important to get a pair. Of course, some pairs will inevitably end up on eBay, so be on the lookout if you have the money to spend on the extremely rare Air Jordan 14’s.
