The Nike Air Classic BW is getting all kinds of love for its 25th anniversary. A shoe once cemented firmly between two other classic visible Air models in the Air Max 90 and Air Max 95, the 1991 Tinker silhouette has stood the test of time thanks to a devoted fanbase overseas and renewed interest here in the states. For the unfamiliar, the BW stands for ‘Big Window’ in reference to the oversized visible air unit which was, at the time, the largest Air Max unit to be featured on a running model. Nike Sportswear has updated the sleek design with the Nike Air Classic BW Ultra in an effort to shed some extra weight. A mesh upper is fused with synthetic overlays for a sleek design complete with a new vector-like graphic that’s sure to turn heads. The debut colorway features a timeless combination of Black and University Red for good measure. What do you think of the look? The pair will be available soon from Nikestore for $135 USD.
