Josh Smith’s BRANDBLACK “Ether” Is Unveiled

Josh Smith’s BRANDBLACK “Ether” Is Unveiled

Brandblack Ether Debut 1

BRANDBLACK once again combines high performance with modern style on the court for their next new silhouette, the Ether. Although built with modern technology and on-trend style, the Ether actually looks to the past for inspiration from early basketball footwear designed with Blucher construction—the manufacturing technique most basketball shoes utilized from the early 1900s all the way to the 1970s. BRANDBLACK presents the first modern sneaker with Blucher construction by fusing vintage design and structure with modern-day technology. The Ether features a military-grade ballistic nylon upper with nubuck, leather, or suede (depending on the colorway) support panels up top, all cushioned with proprietary Blackfoam in the midsole. Already debuted on court by Josh Smith of the Houston Rockets, the Ether will launch in the five colorways you see here on March 10th at brandblack.com and BRANDBLACK retailers including Champs, Footaction, and BAIT.
