Jordan Brand Reuses Another Past Air Jordan 1 Classic For 2025

A 2019 classic is back.

Jordan Brand Reuses Another Past Air Jordan 1 Classic For 2025

Jordan Brand isn’t shy about dipping into the well of established Air Jordan colorways for future drops. We’ve seen it particularly with the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG with the “Mocha” and “UNC To Chi”, and that strategy is continuing into 2025 with this upcoming March release.

Here we have a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Obsidian/University Blue”, borrowing from the highly-coveted 2019 release. Combining Obsidian blue at the toe-guard, lace-collar, and Swoosh with the timeless University Blue on the heel-tab and heel, this sharp execution of the ’85 original offered an alternate take on the UNC Tar Heels blue uniforms.

However, 2019 and 2025 will be a far cry from one another in terms of demand; while the first High release demanded nearly quadruple the MSRP in the secondary market, the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG has been an easy pick-up well after release date.

Speaking of, these are expected to land in stores on March 22nd, 2025, but given how far out we are from that date, expect some possible changes to be updated on our Jordan Release Dates page.
