Miami’s Edition Boutique has been the sole supplier for Dwyane Wade’s signature sneakers since his surprise jump from Jordan Brand over to Li-Ning. After a seven-game series win over the Charlotte Hornets, D.Wade and company are gearing up for a match-up against the upstart Toronto Raptors and Edition Boutique has a special collaborative pair just-in-time for Round 2. Wade has been in a sort of renaissance lately, willing the Heat back from a 3-2 deficit with his arsenal of newfound athleticism as his Miami squad hits stride at the perfect time. This pair is inspired by Miami street culture and a few pairs of Li-Ning Way of Wade 4 on-court exclusives. The collaborative effort utilizes a premium matte and polished black combination with touches of metallic gold throughout for a premium execution. An icy blue outsole pays homage to Miami’s crystal blue waters while a palm tree graphic stands out for good measure. The breathable mesh upper is a retail first for this pair, as the construction has only been found on Wade’s on-court PEs until now. Wade’s Li-Ning offerings have been known for their quality control, and with a carbon fiber mid-foot stabilization unit paired with Edition’s luxurious color selection, this limited offering should be an easy cop when available in-store on May 14th for $190 USD.
