ASICS Brings Lumberjack Flannel To The GEL-Lyte III

Asics Gel Lyte Iii Lumberjack Flannel

ASICS Tiger continues to revamp the classic 1991 retro running model known as the ASICS Gel Lyte III in a number of new and exciting ways. While we’re used to being treated to a handful of collaborative efforts thanks to the model’s ongoing 25th-anniversary celebration, you can’t forget that the brand’s in-house colorists are always cooking up something special too. That’s why we’re not too surprised to see the Gel Lyte III return in a new experimental lumberjack flannel rendition for the current Fall 2016 season.

The Gel Lyte III thrives thanks to a traditional black and red buffalo plaid on the famous split tongue, heel, and midfoot section while black piping adds a matching finish. A contrasting white toe matches the midsole for a clean finish. What do you think of this new “Lumberjack Flannel” rendition of the iconic running retro? Check out more photos below of the latest ASICS Gel Lyte III and know that you can purchase your pair right now at spots like Premier.
