Then look no further than ASICS Tiger’s latest rendition of one of their most iconic retro running models with the transformed ASICS Gel Lyte III MT Mid in Black and White. ASICS Tiger has moved away from collaborative efforts this autumn season to focus on their in-house colorists’ and designers’ abilities to create premium lifestyle creations from the illustrious history of their retro running catalog, and it’s been working out quite well for the brand.
This ASICS Gel Lyte III mid takes on a premium construction of suede, nubuck, and a functional neoprene for a simple upper with reflective 3M accents on the form stripes and heel. A cement speckled midsole adds a simple finish to match. The most noticeable difference on extension of the ASICS Gel Lyte III Mid is that the split-tongue remains, but an additional sock liner now has another tongue jutting out for a higher construction that’s more seasonally appropriate.
