Continuing to create energy around their latest and greatest silhouette, New Balance teamed up with a renowned New York City photographer to create a special showcase of the 247. Inspired by the shoe’s name and the concept that it’s the perfect stylish sneaker for any 24/7 on-the-go lifestyle, photographer Ryan Millier took to the streets to shoot the 247 around town during a 24 hour period. Shooting 24 photos in 24 hours, Millier traveled across the city with the shoes modeled at landmark locations including the Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square, and the subway system, as well as lesser known back alleys and sidewalks.
With the sneaker world still buzzing about the New Balance 247—which has sold out at many locations across the globe in its first three-color Luxe Pack—Millier’s photographs prove that the warm reception for the shoe isn’t just hype, but that it’s backed up with a sleek and forward-thinking design. See a few of the best of the 24 shots here, and stay tuned for more New Balance 247 releases on the way in additional colorways and materials soon.
