Mark Wahlberg Originally Had A Crazy Idea For The Air Jordan “Transformer” PE

In an interview published on Jordan Brand’s official blog, Mark Wahlberg revealed that his original idea for an Air Jordan PE for his Transformers film was an Air Jordan 4 that transformed into an Air Jordan 5. That sorta sounds like a loose definition of the short-lived Jordan Elements series, which featured two distinct Air Jordan models fused into one. Instead, the Jordan design team went with a futuristic blend of colors and materials, with a shiny oil-slick upper with grrid patterns and a glow-in-the-dark sole completing the look.
