It’s still unclear if seeding super-exclusive products to celebrities is a viable marketing strategy. Theoretically, these gifts are supposed to generate demand among followers, but perhaps it would make more of an affect if the product is attainable without having the break the bank. DJ Khaled‘s latest haul is the unreleased version of Jordan Brand’s shoe of the year – the Air Jordan 4 “Kaws”; Khaled, a master at creating easily digestable social media content, set-designs his living room with plenty of KAWS figurines and, of course, his adorable son Asahd. Currently, the black version of the Air Jordan 4 Kaws is set to release sometime in 2018; let’s hope they’ll be much more available than the first grey colorway, which currently sells for $1,250-$1,500.
