On-Foot Look At The Nike Air Max 97 “Neon”

Isn’t it a guilty pleasure to see Nike’s most iconic original color themes be placed on other models? Nike hits us with a surprise Air Max 97 release as the shoe’s 20th Anniversary winds down, adding the unforgettable “Neon” colorway to the speed train-inspired design by Christian Tresser. What makes this colorway transplant such a fitting match is that the “tracks” on the upper achieve the same gradient effect as the Air Max 95. Unfortunately, these are limited to women’s sizing, unless the Swoosh wants to surprise us again with a men’s release.
