The adidas Futurecraft 4D was recently named one of Time Magazine’s 25 best inventions of 2017, giving the four-dimensional printed sneaker some well-deserved global recognition. Debuting earlier this April and later revealed as part of a Y-3 shoe, the Trefoil Brand is all-in on this ground-breaking technology, with plans of adding it to a brand new running silhouette. The new-look design is donned the AlphaEdge 4D and utilizes Forgefiber technology on its upper that features compression at pressure points for maximum cushioning and utility. The focal point of the innovative AlphaEdge is the multi-dimension printed sole unit that combines light and oxygen to provide the wearer with unmatched comfort and support. While no specific release date is available, the AlphaEdge 4D is rumored to arrive in limited quantities at select retailers in May of 2018.
