OFF WHITE x Nike HyperAdapt Mocked Up By Spain’s Sivasdescalzo For el Día de los Santos Inocentes

Spanish sneaker and streetwear shop Sivasdescalzo recently stirred things up on Instagram with a post of what is seemingly an OFF-WHITE x Nike Hyperadapt with the caption, “First big release of the year 2018!” The photo, however, is not meant to be taken seriously as it is merely a celebration of el Dia de los Santos, Spain’s equivalent to April Fool’s Day. The original image used for the mock up was actually first seen at the Nike Innovation Summit in New York City back in 2016. The mischievous shop then added the obscure detailing that has quickly come to be recognized with OFF-WHITE renditions. This isn’t the first time Sivasdescalzo has taken part in such a prank; years back the shop posted a Jordan 11 “Moon Landing” photoshop that turned heads as well. Nonetheless, one can help but give a tip of the cap to the Spanish shop and say, “Well played.”
