Big Sean’s Puma Footwear Collection Is Officially Unveiled

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the iconic Puma Suede, the brand is teaming up with its top hip-hop endorser, Big Sean, to create a reimagined version of the silhouette. Boasting a chunkier-than-usual midsole, an extended ankle collar,  Puma “D” branding – reminiscent of founder Rudolf Dassler’s logo – on the tongue, and Big Sean’s signature on the lateral side of the sneaker, it creates a luxe aesthetic that furthers the brand’s musical influences.

While Sean’s signature Suede is undoubtedly the hero of this collection, it will be accompanied by another Suede dressed in Ash as well as a new rendition of the Puma Clyde that comes devoid of its customary Formstripe. The Sean Don’s signature will also be prominently featured on both of those selections and the final footwear offering – a pair of Leadcat slides. An apparel collection consisting of track jackets, hoodies, coach jackets, and more will release alongside the footwear.

From the streets of Detroit to the top of the charts, Big Sean has always enlisted his personal sense of style that mixes classic ideals with modernized street luxe style – an aesthetic that Puma has masterfully embodied over the years. The Big Sean x Puma Suede 50 pack will arrive at select Puma retailers on March 22nd, and will be followed up by a second drop that includes the rest of the footwear collection on March 31st.
