adidas has concocted yet another unique new take on their flagship Boost running line: the Solar Boost, which features a ultra-comfortable Boost midsole merged with a new upper technology called Tailored Fiber Placement. The new material is designed with precise data so its fibers are connected together perfectly, and it also features Parley material in the midfoot for extra support. Beyond the new upper technology, the Solarboost offers an updated Energy Rail in the midfoot for increased stability, and a new StretchWeb outsole design that’s designed to move in harmony with the Boost cushioning to provide a customized ride for both men and women.
The men’s Solarboost features a black upper with white adidas branding, an aqua heel cage, and aqua/orange midfoot detailing. The women’s colorway features a dark ink blue upper with mint adidas branding and lilac accents, and mint/lilac midfoot detailing. Both shoes feature an iconic white Boost midsole and black outsole. Look for both of these futuristic Solarboosts to arrive on adidas.com May 17th for $160 USD, and for more adidas news check out the original “Turtledove” Yeezy 350 Boost samples Kanye West recently unveiled on Twitter.
