Ross Dwyer Nike’s annual BETRUE celebration of LBGTQ pride continues in 2018 with a four-shoe pack, and one of the most head-turning shoes of the four slated to release is this exclusive take on the Air Max 270. The BETRUE 270 offers a grey mesh upper with black accents on the toe, midfoot, and heel, while bright pink pops of color arrive on the heel tab and small forefoot swoosh. The shoe’s most defining feature arrives via its striking four-color gradient heel Air Max unit inspired by the Pride flag that fades from purple to blue to teal before ending in a light pink. A white midsole and pink/black outsole tie the simple upper and elaborate air bubble together, and the shoe’s commemorative look is rounded off with special BETRUE branding on the heel tabs and insole.
