Is This Jordan CP3.XI Shoe Inspired By The TV Show Martin?

One of the most popular television sitcoms from the mid 90s was undoubtedly Martin, starring Martin Lawrence who played a snarky DJ in Detroit that eventually makes his way to the big time and becomes a talk show host on TV. In honor of that hit FOX program, Chris Paul and the Jordan Brand have teamed up for a Martin-themed colorway of the All-Star point guard’s eleventh signature sneaker – the Jordan CP3.XI. Done up in black with multi-color detailing, it takes its inspiration from the show’s opening credits. Its forefoot strap comes dressed almost entirely in black and white with a pattern that matches the geometric shapes that surround “MARTIN” on those same opening credits with blue, yellow, red, and green mixed in. While the rest of the upper keeps things rather simplistic, the outsole ushers in a rainbow striped pattern with those same matching colors to further this clear nod to the cult classic TV series. Enjoy a detailed set of images for this CP3.XI “Martin” below and stay tuned for updates.

Updated June 29th, 2018: The Jordan CP3.XI “Martin” is available now at Foot Locker.
