Sneaker News California-based footwear boutique UNDEFEATED brought the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro back in style in 2018, offering up various military-themed colorways that spun off their game-changing “flight jacket” aesthetic from the early 2000s. Soon enough, the epic olive/black/orange colorway from their 2005 Air Jordan 4 collaboration will make its official appearance on this updated Kobe retro, complete with swappable patches on the tongue that feature Kobe Bryant’s two jersey numbers as well as the Undefeated and Nike logos.
However, getting a pair will require a combination of luck and skill. Only ten pairs (yes, ten pairs) of this version will be made available at the new Undefeated Meiji Dori store this weekend in Tokyo; anyone who makes a purchase will be entered into a raffle to participate in a basketball competition to win 1 of 10 of these shoes.
