adidas Adds Leopard Prints To BOOST Cushioning

Long time adidas Ultra BOOST collaborator, Stella McCartney, is back with the Three Stripes once again to bring a brand new look to the ladies-only Ultra BOOST X. It is no secret that BOOST cushioning has died down since its inauguration, and the addition of leopard print to this particular unit is McCartney’s attempt to re-ignite the hype. Black and white leopard spots make up for the entirety of this Ultra BOOST‘s BOOST sole unit and serves as a nod to Stella’s affinity with animal prints. For lockdown, the UB X utilizes a strap system as opposed to laces, allowing for the female wearer to control her fit a bit more easily. While the aforementioned BOOST unit is the clear hero here, the rest of its Primeknit-infused upper ushers in a simple tonal black makeup to further draw the wearer’s eye to the sole.
