How To Get The Concepts x Nike Kyrie 4 “Green Lobster”

How To Get The Concepts x Nike Kyrie 4 “Green Lobster”

Concept’s “Lobster”-themed collaborations have continuously risen to the top of collaborative sneaker lore, due in large part to their infrequency and their fundamental ties to the city of Boston. Well documented Nike SB-head and current Boston Celtics point guard, Kyrie Irving, is teaming up with the gang over at Concepts to release a “Green Lobster” version of the Kyrie 4, furthering this world class sneaker shop’s ties to the Bean Town’s sneaker culture as well as the Championship winning point guard’s affinity for the Swoosh Brand’s skate line. Fully equipped with a lobster bib-patterned insole, a haphazardly speckled upper, and a blue rubber band around each toe meant to emulate the bindings that hold the crustacean’s pincers in place, this release has garnered serious collab of the year potential.

Since the joint project has been confirmed, anticipation has been at an all-time high, and CNCPTS has taken to their Instagram account early this morning to give lucky Cambridge, MA natives the details surrounding a surprise raffle. Pairs will be raffled off at Corporal Burns Park from 10am-1pm ET today, and potential consumers have been prompted to meet up at the park’s basketball court as soon as they can. Other giveaways, food, and refreshments will be included, so if you are in the area, be sure to head over the park ASAP and tell us if you were able to snag a pair. If you aren’t so lucky, grab another look at the Kyrie 4 “Green Lobster” here as well as a first preview of its special box and stay tuned for further release updates.
