The Nike Air Max 2 Light Is Releasing In Two “Aqua” Styles

The Nike Air Max 2 Light Is Releasing In Two “Aqua” Styles

What’s more quintessentially ’90s than an “Aqua” color palette and some classic Air Max? Not a whole heck of a lot. Nike is well aware of this — and since their classic Air Max 2 Light from 94-95 is returning to market next year, they’ve cooked up a dynamic duo of teal and purple takes on the cult-favorite runner. Each pair features a heavily paneled tonal upper, and uses the Swoosh/heel Air Max units as opportunities for hits of contrast: teal on the purple pair, and purple on the teal pair. If you’re going retro, you might as well do it to the fullest, so each shoe also features a classic clear deubre and circular tongue logo, true-to-the-original details that are sure to delight even the most grizzled Air Max fan. A simple and straightforward black midsole then arrives to complete the look. Check out a full set of official images for each pair below, and expect a drop on Nike.com early 2019.
