Russell Westbrook’s newest signature shoe just hit a nostalgic note thanks to a special edition PE that he revealed on Sunday. The Jordan Why Not Zer0.2, one of the most popular signature shoes out on the market right now, was revealed in a colorway inspired by Super Soaker water guns, the vibrantly colored toys that were a staple of the 1990s. His special PE was revealed as Westbrook carried through the player’s tunnel into the locker room, complete with custom packaging to mimic the throwback toys. He also ended up wearing the shoes in the game against the Celtics, delivering yet another triple-double in a losing effort. As the Why Not Zer0.2 continues to gain steam, a release of the Super Soaker edition would certainly increase the hype even more, don’t you think?
