Ross Dwyer Converse and ASAP Nast go way back. Sure, they’ve collaborated on silhouettes like the One Star before, but Nast’s relationship with the brand stretches back farther than that — he grew up with the Converse Chuck Taylor on his feet. Now, the Harlem native is continuing his lifelong connection with the Malden, Mass-based brand via two new mid-top chukka takes on the Converse Jack Purcell: a “Pumpkin Spice” and a “Beechnut”. Acknowledging the rapper/style icon’s love for the outdoors, both of the mid-cut Purcells feature a classic canvas upper, accented by raised-up black rubber overlays, a black midsole, and black laces. The kicks are also accompanied by a special collection of apparel, featuring elevated takes on basics like tees, crew-neck sweatshirts, and cozy sweatpants.
