Undoubtedly one of the Summer season’s most anticipated sneaker releases is this cross-category mash up of the Air Jordan 1 and Nike SB. Only a shoe so storied like the Air Jordan 1 is able to platform several storylines, and this one in particular not only touches on the silhouette’s adoption by the skate community, but the epic battle between the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers. These skate-ready AJ1s (complete with Zoom cushioned insoles) feature a traditional Lakers colorway of purple and gold, but over time the shoe reveals the iconic “Chicago” look.
