The New Balance 1500 Adds Some Tribal Flair To The Upper

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the made-in-England New Balance 1500 has been receiving some compelling new makeups as of late, styles that offer eye-catching colorways and bold prints. Now, it’s set to bolster its ranks even further with this new tribal pattern-adorned pair, part of a “Sample Lab Pack.” The bold patterns appear on the overlays, using tan/black as a base and interspersing colored details via green, blue, yellow, red, and orange accents for a look that’s elegant, bold, and appealing, all at the same time. A black tongue, white leather collar, and grey mesh toebox with further white leather detailing round off the upper, while the shoe’s look is finalized by a black midsole and timeless gum outsole. Although this certainly isn’t a common look for New Balance, it’s a bold step in a different direction, one that’s sure to pique the interest of 1500 collectors the world over. If you’re looking to add a pair to your rotation, they’ll be available at the retailers listed below on May 4th for $180 USD.
