Ross Dwyer Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and Paul George is paying homage to his beloved mom Paulette with a special makeup of his Nike PG 3. Dressed in rich purple with sporty white accents, these commemorative Nike shoes are packed chock-full of special details: a textured floral print appears around the collar, a light purple P is embroidered on the heel’s white doily print overlay for a double dose of back-end detailing, and “Paulette” is stitched on the inside of the tongue in purple. All the space-themed midsole accents from George’s other PG 3 colorways return, and a soft lilac outsole completes the look. George has spoken openly about how his mother — who suffered a debilitating stroke when he was only six years old — is his biggest inspiration, and has also raised money for the American Heart Association/done a commercial for American Stroke Month.
