Up next for the upcoming championship chase at Bethpage Black is the “Safari Bred” collection that not only honors two key colorways created by Tinker Hatfield for the Air Max 1 and Air Jordan 11, respectively, but also a nod to the golf course’s notoriety as one of the toughest in the world. The AJXI of this capsule, however, features a full black upper mix of glossy patent and smooth leather, with the bold Safari print taking a back-seat due to course regulations. Will we see these in action this weekend? You’ll have to tune into the games to see for yourself, but mark your calendars for May 17th as these are dropping at Nike and select retailers for $220.
