adidas Spezial Adds Three Retro-Inspired Silhouettes To Their Second SS19 Drop

adidas Spezial Adds Three Retro-Inspired Silhouettes To Their Second SS19 Drop

Brought back only a few months ago, the ambitious adidas Spezial project taps renowned collector Robert Brooks once again, gathering inspiration from his upbringing and collection to bring forth three silhouettes that are retro in all senses of the word. Borrowing the namesake of his own stomping grounds, the starring SILVERBIRCH SPZL is one of extreme vibrancy, contrasting against the two coinciding neutral sets in a baby blue hue; orange accents line the white three stripes along the profile with iconography along the tongue following suit. Bereft of color entirely, the EARLHAM SPZL sits in barren departure, reissuing the likeness of the age-old Galaxy as close to as it once was. Much bulkier than the rest, with color blocking a bit more involved than those prior, the hybrid Earlham is one informed by the courts though modeled after the oft-forgotten Gaea 950. Grab a detailed look at the full set of footwear below and expect to see it hitting select retailers as well as adidas.com on June 21st.
