The Nike Air Barrage Mid Appears In Classic Rams Colors

Nike’s Air Barrage Mid is a powerful piece of mid ’90s football footwear, and after making its return to market earlier this year, it’s now set to release in a Rams-inspired colorway later this fall. The Barrage was first sported on-field by none other than a young Marshall Faulk, and although the Hall Of Fame running back was in fact a member of the Indianapolis Colts when the silhouette debuted in 1995, the connection between team, shoe, and star is readily apparent nonetheless. The Rams’ uniforms are known for their bold blue and gold colorway with white accents, and this Barrage takes that palette to heart, dressing the upper in white and blue, while using a bold gold for embellishments, trim, and the plethora of Swooshes that grace the tongue, toebox, quarter, and midfoot strap. A squiggly black midsole adornment helps tone things down just enough, while bold “AIR” branding is spelled out across the midsole’s other peak-shaped pieces. A white and blue outsole features a blocky traction pattern that’s versatile enough for training, turf, or the streets, and a final gold Swoosh towards the heel then completes the look. This classic piece of Nike Football footwear will release on Nike.com September 21st, so enjoy a full set of images directly below while you wait.
