The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Air Times” Features A Detailed Newspaper Print

Jordan Brand has always been known for their storytelling. They’ve seemingly explored every nook and cranny of Michael Jordan’s history and hobbies for new ways to pay homage with their iconic footwear, and now a fresh Air Jordan 1 Mid “Air Times” that seems to take things quite literally has surfaced. The lateral/medial quarters and toebox on each shoe feature an all-over black and white newspaper print that combines headlines, text, and action shots for a very direct nod to MJ’s on-court feats of skill. Apart from this bold and intricate piece of detailing, the rest of this mid-cut Air Jordan 1 keeps it all classic with black nubuck overlays, gym red Swooshes, and gym red logos on the ball-and-wings logo that graces the collar flaps. A white Jumpman on the tongue, white midsole, and Bulls-toned red outsole finalize the stylings. Check out a full gallery of official images below, and look for a release on Nike.com in the coming weeks as well.
