The Nike Shox BB4 “China Hoop Dreams” Features The Beijing Skyline

Nike’s eight-shoe “China Hoop Dreams” collection celebrates China’s vibrant basketball culture, and one piece of the homage-packed assemblage is this bold new take on the classic Shox BB4. A shoe that’s most commonly associate with the high-flying Vince Carter, this new makeup acknowledges the bright lights of Beijing with a skyline-at-sunset style print that covers a large portion of its upper. Black leather provides a stark and simple contrast with the striking printed stylings, and silver detailing graces the tongue. Down below, the heel’s four black Nike Shox phylon columns are held in place with a metallic purple plastic heel clip and a black Pebax plate, while further purple detailing arrives via their signature rings. A black/purple outsole with just a touch of red on the midfoot then finalizes the look. These story-filled Nike shoes are set to release on Nike.com for $170 USD come August 31st, so enjoy a full set of official images directly below while you wait.
