The Jordan Proto React Takes A Spin On The Classic “Bred”

The Jordan Proto React Takes A Spin On The Classic “Bred”

Infused with hoops flair but designed strictly for casual wear, Jordan Brand’s Proto React presents an undeniably compelling style, and even though it’s all about the future, it’s taking on a classic “Bred” colorway for its newest makeup. Although the red and black scheme has been with Jordan Brand ever since the Air Jordan 1, it’s applied in a fresh new way here, with the upper’s outer layer constructed of a sheer black synthetic fabric that shows the red base layer present underneath. Further pops of red are woven into the laces and tongue, while special wavy detailing around the collar and branded hits on each shoe’s heel strap offer a space flight-ready look. Down below, a full-length white React midsole with a noodled traction pattern rounds things off. An official release date for these new Jordans hasn’t been announced yet, but you can expect ’em to arrive on Nike.com in the coming weeks with a $150 USD price point, and enjoy a full set of official images below in the meantime as well.
